Cooking Information
From Chilled Time 40 mins per kg + 20min / Oven: 200°C, Fan: 180°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 6 Preheat oven. Place chicken in a deep sided roasting tin. Place in the centre of oven for and cook for 40 min per kg of chicken + 20min Baste the chicken with the cooking juices. Remove and pierce the thickest part of the breast meat with a skewer to check that there is no pink meat and the juices run clear. If more cooking is required return to the oven, continue cooking for a further 15 minutes and retest. Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before carving. Do not reheat.
